Photography Business Cards

Your card is a print sample. A prospect decides whether your eye translates to the physical the second they hold it — so it should feel as considered as your photos. We help it carry that.

Not sure yet?

You’ll understand the differencewhen you hold it.

Photos can show the finish. They can’t show the weight, the soft-touch of suede, or the way a foil edge catches the light in the handoff. The free sample kit lets you feel suede, silk, foil, Spot UV and edge finishes before you build — and it ships to your door.

Design help

You make the images. Let us handle the card.

You don’t have time to learn foil weights, stock thickness, or print setup — and you shouldn’t have to. Send your imagery and our team shapes the card around your work and your brand.

The photographer problem

Your work is all about quality. A flat, generic card quietly says the opposite.

A client choosing a photographer is buying your eye for quality. If your card is thin and machine-glossy, it undercuts that before they’ve seen a gallery. The card is the one print sample you control completely.

For a photographer whose business runs on portfolio and referrals, a forgettable card is a missed booking.

What a photographer’s card has to do

Prove the eye. Get kept. Get the booking.

01

Prove the eye

Weight, finish, and a single strong image tell a client your taste carries into print — before they open a gallery.

02

Get kept and shown

A beautiful card doesn’t get tossed. It gets pinned up and handed to the friend planning a wedding or a brand shoot.

03

Match your rate

If you charge premium rates, your card can’t feel like a $9 template. It should match the caliber of the work.

Plain-language guidance

Which finish, when.

Finish / material Best for Why it works for photographers
Spot UV Image-forward cards Glossy contrast on matte; makes a hero image or logo gleam.
Thick / layered stock Gallery-weight feel Rigid heft like a fine-art print in the hand.
Suede laminate Editorial / minimal Soft-touch matte; feels expensive and restrained.
Foil logo Wedding / luxury A signature metallic mark that doesn’t fight the imagery.
Colored / foil edge Detail-obsessed Finishes the card from every angle.
Onyx black Bold / fine-art Dramatic dark ground for a single striking image.

Design guidance

What a photography card should — and shouldn’t — carry.

Include

  • Your name / studio
  • Instagram / portfolio handle
  • Website + booking link or QR code
  • Your specialty (wedding, portrait, brand, product)
  • Email and phone
  • One strong signature image or your mark

Avoid

  • Low-res images that print soft
  • Cramming a collage onto one card
  • Thin, machine-glossy stock
  • Camera clip-art and stock icons
  • Fonts that fight your imagery
Tip: a photographer’s card works hardest as a mini print — lead with one signature image (or a clean mark) and make your portfolio link / QR the easiest thing to find. Let the stock and finish prove the quality.
