Our single key tag is 2.375" x 1.125" — small enough to sit on a key ring without getting in the way, and large enough to carry a logo, a number, and a scannable code. It is cut from the same solid 30mil plastic as a full-size card, so it takes years of key-ring use without cracking or fraying at the edges.
Yes. The hole is cut as part of the tag’s shape rather than punched afterwards, so it is clean-edged and sits in the same place on every tag. Keep logos and any scannable code clear of it when you set up the artwork, and we will flag it on your proof if anything sits too close.
The tag prints on one stock, 30mil white, and you choose the finish on top of it: silk, a smooth matte surface, or gloss UV, a high-shine one. Spot UV — raised gloss on selected areas — needs the silk finish underneath to show contrast, so choose silk if you want that effect on a logo.
Yes — barcodes and QR codes print directly on the tag in all the usual formats, and every tag can carry its own number — either running in sequence, or printed from a list you send us. That is what makes key tags work for loyalty and membership programs: the tag is scanned at the counter and the customer is looked up. Tell us what system will read it and we will confirm the format before production.
A signature panel, a scratch-off PIN, foil, and printing on the back. Two things are NOT available on a key tag and are worth knowing before you plan: a magnetic stripe and embossed numbering both need the surface area of a full-size card. If your program depends on a swipe, use a card, or a combined card-and-key-tag so the customer gets both.
The minimum is 500 key tags. Standard production is 12 working days after artwork approval, and some add-ons can extend that slightly. If you have a deadline, tell us at order time and we will confirm the schedule before production starts.
